From 8f71184573d59f4fe3768261fc4a7db57d58836d Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: John Kennedy <65985482+jkennedyvz@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Fri, 27 Feb 2026 19:35:17 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] perf: track available channels set to eliminate O(n) scan in apply_writes Maintain a set of currently-available channel names, updated incrementally as channels change state, so the step-bump loop in apply_writes only iterates available channels instead of scanning all channels with is_available(). For sequential_1000 this reduces function calls by ~54% and improves overall runtime by ~26%.
