Since OpenCode does not support hooks, the following actions that were automated in Claude Code must be done manually:
OpenCode supports hooks through its [plugin system](https://opencode.ai/docs/plugins/).
The ECC plugin automates selected checks when installed and enabled; see
[Hook Runtime Controls](../README.md#hook-runtime-controls) for hook profiles and disabled hook IDs.
Formatting and type checking require the `strict` profile. Run the checks below manually
when the plugin is unavailable, hooks are disabled, or the active profile does not include them.
