Verify PCRE2 on every hosted test platform and coverage runner. Preserve dependency PATH for real scanner delegates and report missing prerequisites explicitly, keeping production fail-closed behavior and hermetic missing/error controls intact.
pi/core and the bundled blueprint skill now refer to the project as ECC only;
the generated README no longer expands the name. Profile contents, package
name and paths are unchanged (123 skills, 24 commands).
The release workflows poll npm for up to five minutes after publish before
verifying the artifact. In 2.2.2 the check gave up after about 30 seconds while
npm was still processing, failing the run before latest was promoted and the
GitHub Release was created.
Version metadata synced to 2.2.3 with CHANGELOG, translated release headings
and release notes; skill-triggers registryDigest updated for the blueprint text.
Adds a curated, Pi-native, skills+prompts-only profile at pi/core/ for downstream packagers that mirror GitHub Releases.
- manifests/pi-core.json: explicit include lists, per-item exclusion reasons, curation rules, safety allowlists; every root skill and command must be classified.
- scripts/build-pi-core.js regenerates pi/core deterministically (package.json from VERSION, LICENSE, README.md, CURATION.md, skills/, commands/); --check fails CI on drift. council is renamed ecc-council inside pi/core only.
- Safety checks: no callable endpoints outside the allowlist, no npx/curl|sh/pip install, no secrets, no absolute home paths, no symlinks, valid frontmatter, no duplicate names.
- CI: build + drift check and an offline Pi CLI load test of pi/core.
- Release: VERSION, package.json and pi/core/package.json at 2.2.2, CHANGELOG, tag-triggered release verification, and a two-week cadence in CONTRIBUTING.md.
pi/core: 123 of 293 skills and 24 of 94 commands; 35,006 characters of skill description text.
Preserve contributor history and current-main behavior while resolving the exact reviewed follow-up.

Add scripts/ci/validate-skill-host-compat.js and run it from the Validate
Components job and npm test after validate-skills.js. The check fails on
Claude-only substitutions in bash fences and on Codex copies that use keys
outside name, description, metadata, license, and allowed-tools. CONTRIBUTING
checklist items warn unless --strict-checklist.
Also add /skill-host-compat and skills/skill-host-compat with a Codex copy
that drops origin. Move configure-ecc plugin-root examples into prose so the
live catalog stays green without a skip list.

* feat: bundle standalone taste distillation and application workflows
* docs: fix imported taste skill markdown lint
* docs: align Turkish agent catalog with taste skills
* refactor: make ECC the canonical reusable video engine
* fix: preserve video duration when applying image overlays
* fix: preserve background colors in image compositing
* fix: report best-effort duration targets and shortfalls
* feat: ship verified Fusion presets with compatibility provenance
* feat(tasteforge): preserve native edits in application bundles
* feat(tasteforge): compile local preservation without hosted input
* fix: update js-yaml to patched 4.3.2
* test: report bounded Stop wrapper failure diagnostics
* fix(tasteforge): fail closed on unsafe output names, missing overlays and cadence
- cli: default report and spec paths are derived from pack name and profile
genre; require the manifest's name pattern before using either as a
filename part so a traversal string cannot write outside cwd/out.
- apply_local: a pack without cadence.json, or with no measured shots and
no explicit mean_shot, raises instead of silently planning 1.0s shots and
reporting a measured cadence.
- legacy apply: a missing overlay aborts before any paid upload; forge()
would have rejected it after every take was generated.
- requirements-live: pin fal-client>=0.13.0, the first release whose
subscribe() accepts client_timeout.
Addresses the five P1 findings from the independent review of #3033.

Use no-follow file descriptors for legacy Codex snapshots, verification, restoration, and marker cleanup. Quarantine candidate removals and verify inode identity before deletion.
Carry the lifecycle runner as a verified artifact so privileged release workflows never dynamically check out and execute an output-selected revision.
* ci: add ruff + mypy to the Python CI job and fix pyproject tool config
The python-tests job runs pytest but not lint/type checks, and the ruff
and mypy configuration in pyproject.toml was silently broken, so neither
tool could run at all.
- add ruff and mypy steps to the existing python-tests job
- fix invalid pyproject keys: [tool.ruff] src-path -> src,
[tool.mypy] src_paths -> mypy_path
- ignore ruff UP042 (the (str, Enum) mixin is intentional)
- resolve ruff findings (unused/unsorted imports) across src and tests
- fix mypy errors in tools/executor.py and prompt/builder.py
* fix(ci): satisfy Python lint after main refresh

* fix: ship new Ito skills through install manifests
* ci: audit shipped dependencies separately from tooling
* test(release): pass previous version to heading helper
The step ran node tests/omp/omp-plugin.test.js, which has never existed in
this repository. It was added by #2382 without the test file, so Verify
Release failed on every tag and no release could publish.
The OpenCode payload is already verified by tests/scripts/build-opencode.test.js
in the preceding step, and the plugin and marketplace manifests by
tests/plugin-manifest.test.js in Verify release metadata stays in sync.

Three defense-in-depth fixes around untrusted input flowing to subprocess execution:
1. **Control-pane HTTP server (scripts/lib/control-pane/server.js)**
The local control-pane API binds to 127.0.0.1 but had no Host or Origin
validation, so a DNS-rebinding attack from a malicious website could pivot
into the loopback endpoints — including POST /api/actions/:id, which spawns
'cargo run -- graph ...' with caller-supplied query strings. Add a hostname
allowlist (loopback variants plus the explicitly configured --host) and
reject mismatched Host (421) or non-loopback Origin (403) before any route
handler runs.
2. **OpenCode git-summary tool (.opencode/tools/git-summary.ts)**
The tool was building 'git diff ${baseBranch}...HEAD --stat' with execSync
and a raw model-supplied baseBranch string. Switch run() to execFileSync
with an args array (no shell), validate baseBranch against a conservative
git-ref allowlist (rejects shell metacharacters, leading -, embedded ..),
and clamp the depth arg to a small positive integer before interpolating
into 'git log --oneline -<N>'.
3. **Reusable test workflow (.github/workflows/reusable-test.yml)**
The 'Install dependencies' step interpolated ${{ inputs.package-manager }}
directly into a bash 'case' and into an echo, so a downstream caller that
forwarded attacker-controllable input could inject into the runner. Move
the input into a PACKAGE_MANAGER env var and reference $PACKAGE_MANAGER
inside the script per the GitHub script-injection guidance.
Detected by Aeon + semgrep p/security-audit (host check via threat-model
manual-review axis; git-summary via detect-child-process; workflow via
run-shell-injection).
Verification: node tests/run-all.js — 2686/2687 pre-existing tests pass; the
one failure (observe.sh legacy output fallback) reproduces on main without
this branch applied. Added 2 new control-pane tests covering the allowlist
classifier and the DNS-rebinding-gate behavior end-to-end.
