CORRECTION (same day, user evidence): the outage was NOT plan exhaustion — the user's plan
dashboard showed 2% of the 5-hour limit and 6% weekly. The true signature: ~14h of constant
429 whose 'reset after 2m' never advanced (a real window would have rolled ~3 times), a 401
'OAuth access token has expired' mid-outage, and recovery minutes after the router refreshed
its token. Diagnosis: a STALE OAUTH TOKEN in the router rejected upstream and surfaced as 429.
Remedy: when a 429 horizon fails to advance for >30min, restart/re-auth the router — do not
wait out a phantom quota window. Original (wrong) framing kept below for the record:
